Edwards Brothers and EB Journal Services share a corporate vision
of maintaining a leadership role in the production of short-to-medium
run books and journals. To meet this objective we have in place
state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities to offer publishers
a complete solution.
Total circulation determines which press platform is utilized -
web or sheetfed offset and/or digital. Depending on your subscriber
base, our web format can run economically quantities of 2,500 and
above. When quantities fall between 250 and 2,500 copies, our sheet-fed
format can be used to fill distribution channels. And digital printing
is best suited to quantities of 250 or less - even individual copies
or article reprints.
EB continues to invest heavily in new equipment to improve our
print production capabilities, and to help reduce costs. Highlighting
our most recent multi-million-dollar capital investments are:
- 5 MAN Roland 900 web presses, 3 in Ann Arbor and 2 in North
Carolina
- Timson ZMR (Zero Make Ready) press in Ann Arbor to meet growing
demand of 1-color and 2-color, 11" work
- 2 IBM Infoprint 4100 digital web presses, 1 in Ann Arbor and
1 at our Kansas plant
- 9 Xerox DocuTech cut sheet digital presses
Keeping pace with technological advancements and new ways of linking
production processes furthers our ability to deliver exceptional
and consistent quality, copy to copy. From traditional 1-color
and 2-color to 4-color process printing and digital reproduction
on demand - using the most state of the art equipment in the industry
- EB Journal Services guarantees that your publications are printed
to your exact specifications without compromise.
